Naily's Akikah

Lama betul tak update blog ni, maklumlah limited time and limited access hehe...project tudung pun dah lama x jln sbb tailor bz sgt...terperap je kain2 aku...

Ok, nak cerita naily's akikah, was in Apr 09, tp baru ada gbr dlm pc kan...so bolehlah masuk blog...Now Naily's already close to 11 months and the akikah was held when she was 4 mths +, joined hubby's aunt's grandson, Muaz, at Nilai, my hubby's aunt's place. Majlis biasa je, baca doa, then makan. Cuma kali ni xde potong jambul mcm Najla dulu. Preparation pun macam biasa cuma aku yg over nak buat buat bunga pahar teddy bear mcm sorang sedara jauh ni.

Actually my step mom gave Najla a cute bunga pahar of teddy bear from her niece cukur jambul. It was sometime in 2007 I think Najla got that. So I said to myself, when I'm having another kid's akikah, I would like to have something like that.

So when my hubby told me join Muaz for Naily's akikah in 3 wks I started my operation to look for tiny teddy bears for 150 pieces which the cheapest I could get was RM3 or 2.90 each (not that cute). Asking friends and also asked Rosie, my fren with kedai pengantin. But somehow, it was to late to decide how the teddy bear should be at the bunga pahar stick, I decided not do it, cancel teddy bear bunga pahar, and I went to Nilai 3 with my MIL and bought bunga pahar org kawin. I was so not into that kinda bung pahar but what to do, no time to prepare my own teddy bear stuff.

So my hubby and frens said, it's ok, for your next children you can do that, oh, it's still a long time tp go and it'll be basi...yes basi already as erra fazira did that kinda bunga pahar for her daughter's akikah, and I saw in rosie's blog, she also made it for the her customer which last time when I explained to her, she got no idea of what I was talking about...and she said..oh ya, that customer wanted to do like Erra's...Oh no... I dont wanna copycat erra, just because she's a celebrity, I also got my own image...so Rosie promise me to designa special bungapahar for my next akikah...ok, u better keep it Rosie...

Tudung Awning

Ramai yg tanya pasal tudung yg I pakai ke off, yelah, sejak sy mula beli 1 tudung awning masa awal thn dulu, suka pulak, dah malas nak pakai tdung bawal lg, sbb senang kan, tak payah nak bentuk2 kat muka, tudung awning ni dah terbtk...

So sbb ramai yg minat, sy pun nak share tudung2 ni dgn office mate, bkn share pakai, share belilah...tp not easy to buy, esp kalau jual open kan camne nak try in public kalau @ munawarah oklah, female je dlm kedai (tersenyum nmpk peminat munawarah), @ arian* kena kluar masuk fitting room pulak...n the price? too expensive for me...so kalau I jual @ ofis u all nk beli tak?

Ada yg suka tu oklah, I bought a few materials already to make into tudungs, some ada yg pesan, some yg I like and I think other people might like it too...My mission when I thought of selling tudung in the office is not to sell them too expensive...and my price is based on the materials (of course), for that I won't buy expensive material...for debut (wah cam lagu lak, u al kan peminat tudung)...the price ranges from rm 50-70, ok kan? Tapi kalau ada yg pesan yg mahal, I akan dptkan, yelah I pun teringin nk tengok org pakai kain mahal2 ni...

Design tudung mainly I buat scallop, style yg I pakai sbb I suka design tu, style arian* yg biasa pun ada...boleh diusahakan...tp jgnlah mintak yg pelik2, pening I, awning pulak thai silk (TS), I suka awning penuh, ada gak yg mintak separuh, xpe, boleh diusahakan...

Masalahnye cume 1. tailor I ni (hrp u all semua tahu that i don't sew, pgg mesin pun x penah, mmg x pandai) fully occupied, tambah2 dah dkt2 puasa ni...jadi kalau u all book, boleh bg masa 2 minggu utk dpt? kalau x boleh tunggu, x dapek den nak nolong...

Mmm, that's all for now, I'll put some pics of the kain, but my blog will be updated once a week only, I tak nk nnt semua kena marah dgn boss sbb duk view blog I, blog org lain suka hati u all...sapa nak book yg mana2 just email me ok, or just uNme, or u all nak order any colors/design, I'll try to get for u guys...

Where have I been?

Ohh...it's June, means almost a year i left this blog...surprisingly I became so bz at work. Was on maternity leave for almost 3 mths (+MC) and I resumed to work in Feb.

So, the first post in 2009. Happy mid-year to everybody.

Naily was born on 28th Nov. 2008. Quite a nice date isn'it? My pregnancy went to 41 weeks (just like the 1st one) so I was induced. Started everything (the induction process etc.) at about 9.30 a.m and delivered at 4.30 p.m. Alhamdulillah. Welcome Naily to the family.

Live getting more hectic as I'm now managing my two daughters. Well, everythi's fine, just you know, I'm not that tough, I tend to become sleepy by 10 at nite and that is the time my naily prefers to stay up catching her activities.

I need to discipline my self, at least a post a month would be great rite.

My August Celebration

Today is 8th August 2008, (08.08.08), a very ong date in for chinese ethnic and a nice number for everybody. The opening of Olimpik Beijing 2008. I read an article in a newspaper in June, hundreds of couples in China registedred to get married today. Not just because of the date, also because of the International Games, Olimpik.

My August celebration started in 2004 when I got engaged and married in August 2005. Prior to that was just mere public holiday of the National Day. I delivered my first daughter in August 2006, added another joy to the month. But all of them were before the eighth of the month.

Early this month, on the second to be exact, we went back to Penang for my cousin’s wedding, Dad, Mom and our family. On the forth, we came back to Subang and celebrated Najla’s birtday. Was not really a celebration as during the day, we were on journey. So after maghrib, Dad recited doa, we sang her a birthday song and cut her ice-cream cake. This what we always do when celebrating each other’s birthday in the family. She was really enjoyed, excited to cut the cake, she even asked me to put the candles quickly, but she didn’t manage to blow them. Cutie Najla. I gave her a piece of cake, and she really enjoyed it (the ice cream of course!). Full concentration until we didn’t have the chance to take photo with her.

Two days after Najla’s birthday, we celebrated our third anniversary, the simplest way i.e. my hubby gave me a card a bouquet of red roses. I made mango pudding with lychees in the morning, and brought for my colleagues. Sweet course for everybody as a symbol of sweet marriage forever. Mommy asked, don’t you guys go out for a dinner? Ohh.. please, I rather stay home...I dont want to leave Najla if we were to go, and I’m too tired to look after her over dinner. So, just be home.

What your celebration today on this special date? A colleague is getting married and another colleague’s sister is getting engaged. Congratulations! By the way, 20th August 2008 is also a nice date (20.08.2008) isn’it? Well, in Malaysia, of course we are going to celebrate our National Day, it’s a celebration for everybody as it’s Public Holiday!!!

Finally, I Got My Own!!!

How I like to read other people's blog, and made me think y not to have my own, so that I can put whatever I like as remembrance.

Yea, they are so many things in my life which some time I forgot about.

I used to be very busy in the office, and when needed to clear my mind, I went to peoples' blog to read their articles. Well now, i have the time to create my own, not sure whether it's an up in my career (to have free time in the office), or may be my boss just dont care about what I'm doing rite now. Let's put it positively...

All rite, it's 5.40, let's call it a day, I'm going back now, cant wait to see my daughter. See how free I am now, can go back on time, so I guess I got the time to write tomorrow...
Well not everyday is a free lazy day...
